Are you a seasoned HR professional looking for a dynamic opportunity to make a significant impact within a thriving organisation? We're on the lookout for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our client's team. In this pivotal role, you'll spearhead talent management initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion a culture of recognition and engagement throughout the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of HR to devise and execute talent management strategies, while upholding HR policies and procedures to drive organisational success.
  • Offer expert policy advice and guidance to both line managers and staff on matters pertaining to recruitment, training, and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Lead the charge in promoting and implementing robust Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring strict adherence to regulations and certification requirements.
  • Forge strong partnerships with the Head of Group Health Safety & Compliance and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless business compliance and operational excellence.
  • Take charge of talent management and development functions, meticulously ensuring GDPR compliance and the accuracy of all payments.
  • Drive the development of HR policies and procedures, and generate insightful reports on key HR metrics, GDPR compliance, and diversity initiatives.
  • Provide invaluable HR specialist support at senior management level, addressing general queries and fostering positive employee relations.
  • Actively support organisational development efforts and adeptly manage trade union relationships as necessary.
  • Proactively identify and report any irregularities or non-compliance concerns to management, facilitating prompt resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Ideally educated to CIPD level 5 or above (or equivalent), the successful Human Resources Business Partner will demonstrate a strong foundation in HR principles and practices.
  • Additional certification or experience in Health and Safety (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH) would be highly advantageous.
  • Proven track record in a fast-paced commercial manufacturing or logistics environment, showcasing your ability to thrive in dynamic settings.
  • Extensive generalist experience spanning both strategic and operational levels, with a keen understanding of industry best practices.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR regulations, coupled with hands-on experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • A strategic mindset with a deep understanding of how effective talent management aligns with and drives business objectives.

Salary Range & Benefits:

The salary for this Human Resources Business Partner role is competitive, ranging from £40,000 to £45,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, the company offers an attractive benefits package.
