Tradewind is seeking an experienced Humanities Teacher, with a particular interest in Geography, to support a Wallasey based high school school.

The timetable will primarily focus on Geography, however be prepared to teach History and RE.

This role will commence from 3rd June until 19th July.

Even the shortest time spent in the school makes it clear that students here are typically very well brought up; they are bright, conscientious and ambitious. The students contribute hugely to the warm and positive atmosphere of the school. The school is a mix of traditional and new buildings surrounded by wonderful countryside. The school is situated in its own beautiful grounds with extensive playing fields and well-equipped facilities. The school is Ofsted-rated 'Good' and students are extremely positive about their learning experiences and proud to attend the school.

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Geography across KS3 and KS4
  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10-year career history (including academic studies)
  • Minimum of 2 professional references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
