A newly formed SEN secondary school is seeking a Humanities Teacher to lead the development of the humanities curriculum and teach students with diverse educational needs. This role is ideal for an educator looking to innovate and lead in their field, working under the guidance of a supportive senior leadership team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of the humanities curriculum tailored to SEN students.
- Teach a variety of humanities subjects to ensure students receive a well-rounded education.
- Evaluate student progress and adapt teaching materials as needed.
- Engage in continuous professional development and collaborate with peers to enhance teaching practices.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in curriculum development highly regarded.
- Ability to work flexibly and collaboratively within a small school setting.
