Monday-Friday- 10.00pm-6.30am

Monday-Friday- 3.00pm-11.30pm

4 ON 4 OFF Nights- 5.30pm-5.30am

We have an exciting opportunity for a Hygiene Operative to join our client's dynamic team in the food manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning of all production areas, equipment, and facilities, following established cleaning procedures and schedules.
• Sanitise and disinfect surfaces, machinery, and equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning and sanitation supplies.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify any areas that require attention or improvement.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure cleanliness during shift changes and minimise downtime.
• Follow strict hygiene protocols for the prevention of allergen cross-contamination.
• Record and report any incidents or issues to the hygiene manager promptly.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures and products.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations within a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
