An exciting and expansive organisation has recently approached Mitchell Adam and requested assistance with their search for a talented and charismatic Immediately Available Management Accountant. The organisation operates in the construction sector, and have been successful in obtaining some of the more exciting and interesting projects in Birmingham and around the West Midlands. They always strive to produce the highest quality of work, and due to their consistently growing client base, they have decided to expand their experienced and passionate finance department. They are looking for an experienced individual who is ideally either immediately available or on a one week notice period, as they would like to start the on boarding and training process sooner rather than later. The organisation is based in Birmingham City Centre, just a short walk from Moor Street and New Street Stations, they offer on-site parking and a hybrid working style alongside their brilliant benefits package.

The organisation began with humble origins, but made a habit of consistently maintaining a loyal clientele with fantastic customer service and of course a brilliant end-product. They began to make their mark on their sector and have now solidified themselves as one of the main players in the industry. As a result, they have been expanding their finance team at a steady pace, ensuring each new addition has the ability to take on new responsibilities at a rate in which they will be able to receive substantial training. As an Immediately Available Management Accountant, you will be joining the team and helping produce the management accounts for the Finance Director. Alongside this you will be gaining responsibilities in budgeting and forecasting as you progress in this role. The organisation have a fantastic culture and are always trying to help you achieve your aims and ambitions in your time in this position.

Skills Required
  • To have experience producing management accounts for senior staff. This is an essential part of the position and will require some prior experience.
  • To have experience interacting with senior stakeholders such as Directors and Managers. This organisation has a brilliant equal culture where senior and entry level employees have no barriers to communicating.
  • To be confident and charismatic, in this role you will be involved in financial meetings where your thoughts will be listened to and valued. It is important to be able to communicate in a strong manner in this position.
  • To be either actively studying either your ACCA or CIMA qualification, or to have already passed a number of these examinations.
