Interim Financial Accountant

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Financial Accountant to join a leading player in the Energy & Natural Resources sector. The role will primarily involve managing financial operations and supporting the company's financial planning and budget management.

Description

• Income statement analysis and reporting including budget variance analysis
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts for 18 entities and Financial Statements reporting pack
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Support with the preparation of monthly management board finance packs
• Assisting with the year end audit
• Assist with the preparation of other internal and external reporting requirements including VAT and Corporation Tax
• Accrual and prepayment reconciliations and analysis
• Liaise wider finance team to ensure that financial policies and procedures are understood and robustly managed

Profile

A successful Financial Accountant should have:

• A full qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE to the same level.
• Proficiency in major accounting software programs, (exchequer will be highly advantageous)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Solid understanding of financial procedures and legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Offer

• £300-£315 per day via umbrella company or £60k equivalent via PAYE
• Hybrid and flexible working model (2/3 split)
