Interim Tax Consultant - Berkshire (1-2 days a week in office) - £500 - £1000 per day

Our Client

A global organisation in Berkshire requires a Tax Consultant for an interim period of 3-6 months to support the Financial Controller with a project.

The Role:

Working closely with the Financial Controller and Shared Service Centre your key deliverables will include:

• Process Review & Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of current tax processes within the shared service centre, identifying areas for improvement to enhance compliance and efficiency.

• Policy Analysis & Development: Analyse existing tax policies, ensuring they align with local and international regulations, and develop new policies where necessary.

• Procedure Implementation: Design and implement new tax procedures to streamline workflows, ensure accuracy, and improve data management within the shared service centre.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing expert guidance on tax matters, and ensuring consistent application of tax policies and procedures across the organization.

• Compliance Monitoring: Monitor tax-related activities to ensure adherence to established procedures, minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

About You:

Ideally you will have been trained in a Big 4 practice and will have experience of collaboration with a shared service centre.
