IT Project Manager

Exciting Contract Opportunity for IT Project Manager with one of the Top Pharma clients.

Role: IT Project Manager (Salesforce)

Location: UK - Stockley Park- Hybrid Role

Duration: 12 months

Job duties include:

• Assume Project Management responsibility through the full delivery life cycle of multiple critical IT projects.
• A significant focus of this role is managing the reliable delivery of IT systems readiness for commercial launches and on time, to budget and meeting agreed quality criteria. The key systems enabling these launches are Salesforce.com based solution and Oracle based ERP.
• Independently manage a diverse group of stakeholders across dispersed geographies and time-zones.
• Independently develop and maintain requisite project management documentation to a high standard - in line with Client standards.
• Run project performance management and governance ceremonies including steering, status reviews and stand-ups.
• Develop resource plans and ensure appropriate resources are assigned to project teams.
• Develop and manage project budgets, including delivery of accurate financial forecasting and reporting.
• Ensure active management of project change requests, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Engage independently with business partners and end-users to ensure all projects meet business objectives.
• Provide oversight and co-ordination of vendor and delivery partner activities.
• Ensure regular communication with all relevant stakeholder groups in a consistent and timely manner.
• Leverage and embed project management best practices in all aspects of their work.
• Ensure end-user training is provisioned as well as robust transition to support activities.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

• Senior IT Project Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs.
• In particular - delivering technology to enable the launch of a commercial therapy / drug.
• Proven professional program and project management experience.
• Proven experience working with dispersed and global teams across multiple locations.
• Solid knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques
• Proven experience in stakeholder management.
• Experience in dealing with senior management up to executive level.
• Experience in the life-science industry required.
• In particular - a scale-up Biotech organisation.
• Experience in the delivery of GxP projects and systems.
• Experience managing the delivery of systems based on Salesforce.com is highly desired.
• Relevant professional qualification would be advantageous if combined with practical experience.
• Fluency in the English language is required.
