Looking for a challenging and exciting role in procurement? I am currently recruiting for an IT Procurement Lead for a Public Sector organisation based in London. This role offers hybrid and flexible working, with 2 days per week in the office and the remainder remote.
Your new role
This is a busy and diverse role, and you will be responsible for developing and delivering sourcing and contracting strategies across the technology portfolio.
In this role you will

  • Be accountable for the delivery of a variety of complex procurements ensuring compliance with the organisation's commercial policy and public procurement regulations.
  • Demonstrate through all sourcing activities and commercial negotiations' knowledge of the technology market.
  • Create and implement category strategy plans to provide a 1-3-year plan across the category.
  • Knowledge and experience of using procurement/purchasing systems.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of working within IT Procurement
  • Knowledge of Public Sector Procurement
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent (i.e., World CC) or willingness to work towards gaining an appropriate level of qualification
