Junior Accounts Assistant

• Annual Salary: £25k - £27k (depending on experience)
• Location: Feltham
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (subject to probation period) and office based role

We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Clerk to join our expanding finance team. The role involves a range of accounting tasks including credit control, invoice posting, and bank reconciliations. This position is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of finance experience, preferably within the freight industry, and who is proficient with Microsoft Excel and systems.

• Conduct credit control activities to ensure timely payments.
• Post purchase invoices accurately within the system.
• Manage bank receipts and payments, maintaining meticulous records.
• Perform bank and CDS reconciliations regularly.
• Allocate costs to jobs effectively and accurately.
• Generate ad hoc reports and analysis to support management decisions.

• At least 1 year of experience in a finance-related role.
• Experience within the freight industry is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Systems, particularly Excel (V Look-up & Pivot Table).
• Familiarity with Sage Line 50 and BoxTop is an advantage.
• Strong personality with the ability to handle month-end deadlines and pressure.
