As a luxury fashion company with a strong ethical standpoint we are leaders and innovators in our industry.Overview:Reporting into the Senior Accounting Manager, the [Junior Accounts Assistant] will be working in the accounting team to ensure the books of accounts are managed in a timely and accurate manner. The position will be supporting the group entities in the UK, France and Spain.Your Mission:
  • Manage, record and report on all the company's revenue streams according to local and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements:
    • Ensuring retail revenue is accurately recorded on a daily basis
    • Reconcile retails sales transactions and receipts including credit card, cash, gift card, store credit and deposit payment methods
    • Work directly with customers and ensures that all payments by clients are duly received on time as agreed, without delay.
    • Managing customer master data, raising invoices and follow up on settlement
    • Perform and comment on debtor ageing analysis and execute action plan
    • Maintaining process notes and enhance process efficiency
  • Supporting the preparation of VAT returns quarterly
  • Managing accounts of holding company
  • Validate employee expenses following the company policy
  • Assisting the month end closing activities
  • Participating in ad hoc projects
Your Talent:
  • Working towards accounting qualifications (eg. ACCA)
  • 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in fashion retail industry
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Good at building relationships
  • Accuracy, transparency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem solve and manage data
Systems and Essentials
  • SAP knowledge is must
  • Strong Excel skills (such as Pivot table, vLookup) and general IT skills essential.
  • Italian/French/Spanish language skills beneficial.
