Junior Acoustics Consultant

My client is an independent acoustics consultancy who specialise in sound insulation testing, environmental noise surveys and designing acoustic materials for a range of different developments including residential and commercial. Since their founding in 2004 the company has been accredited with the UKAS Accreditation for the range of acoustic testing services they provide.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's or master's degree in acoustic engineering or a related field is required.
  • Membership to the IOA is considered favourable.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in sound and noise surveying is required.
  • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • A valid UK driving licence is mandatory.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Conduct noise and vibration surveys and assessments with the help of modelling software.
  • Gather all the relevant data from the assessments and create detailed and informative technical reports.
  • Stay in touch with the key stakeholders throughout the project's life cycle.
  • Work in collaboration with cross-functional teams whenever required to ensure that all the necessarytasks are completed on time and within the given deadline.
