The role will consist of the successful candidate interacting with a wide variety of stakeholders, ranging from senior financial management to non-financial individuals. You will be discussing the financial health of the organisation and providing your thoughts and findings in regular finance meetings, your opinions will be valued and heard, and you will have the opportunity to make changes and truly influence the organisation. The main responsibilities of the position will see you being an integral part of the budgeting and forecasting process, alongside producing management accounts for a number of entities within the organisation. It is essential to have prior budgeting and forecasting experience for this role.

Skills Required
  • To have a level of experience being involved with the budgeting and forecasting process in your career so far, as this role will see you at times having 1-2-1 meeting with senior stakeholders.
  • To be confident and outgoing, this role will require some self-confidence as you will be speaking in meetings with senior stakeholders. It is important to be self-assured in your ability and communicate in a strong manner.
  • To have worked in either the non-for-profit or public sector in your career so far. Or to have experience leading financial meetings.
  • To have experience with month end responsibilities, such as producing management accounts and adding commentary, posting journals and completing reconciliations.
