KS1 SEN Teacher

Time Plan Education are recruiting an SEN Teacher to join a lovely SEN school in Kensington from after May half term. Your role will be to teach a small KS1class and you will be supported by several, experienced support staff. You will also be responsible for planning and delivering interactive, and fun lessons.

The school is accessible by both car and public transport and the succesfull candidate will be working on a full-time basis with the opportunity of getting a permanent contract with the school after three terms.

Job Responsibilities

  • Comfortable leading a KS1 class of SEN pupils with moderate SEND.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • Assist with personal care if needed.
  • Supervising pupils' behaviour.

Job Requirements

  • QTS
  • Experience working with children with SEND.
  • Calm and empathetic.
  • Good behaviour management.
  • Valid DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
  • Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 2-6 months.
