Are you a KS2 specialist with a passion for the creative arts? A lovely school based in Denton are seeking a committed teacher who has drive and ambition to join their KS2 department!

On behalf of our client school, Tradewind are currently looking to recruit a KS2 teacher for a full-time position commencing September 2024. This role is on a fixed term contract for 1 year with the potential of permanency for the right candidate - presenting a very exciting opportunity! KS2 Teacher

  • As the KS2 teacher you will deliver learning in line with the KS2 curriculum using WAGOLL and modelling techniques effectively to demonstrate best practice
  • Maths is supported by the Activelearn scheme which promotes physical and collaborative learning experiences improving retention and overall engagement
  • Foundation subjects are taught through a creative curriculum with French as the chosen MFL allowing all talents and skills to be nurtured
  • You will be expected to build a strong, trusting, respectful rapport with the class
  • Value parents as partners throughout children's educational journey
  • The successful candidate will be dedicated, have a strong track record of attendance and be, willing to immerse themselves in all aspects of school life.

The school is led by an experienced Headteacher who has established strong relationships with staff and the community and after visiting the school, it's clear to see staff and children are very happy.

Essential Requirements:

  • QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Be able to provide two excellent references to support your previous experience in KS1
  • Provide a CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with any gaps explained
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
  • Have a right to work in the UK.
