Laundry Assistant

We are heading towards the summer and the client we are supporting are growing quickly. With the Airbnb and holiday lets getting busier already, we are recruiting for a Laundry Assistant.

This is an immediate start working on a temporary ongoing basis or 6-month contract. The likelihood is, that this role will become a permanent role after the 6-month period, should you really enjoy the position.

The role is working full time hours - 9am - 5.30pm and 5 days a week, however these days could be across weekend days. You will always have two days rest a week.

Duties will include (not limited to):

• Washing of linen with the use of large washing machines.
• Folding and ironing using industrial irons and rollers
• Reporting any faults with laundry machinery.
• Dealing with customers - providing excellent customer service.
• Receiving incoming deliveries and coordinating the shipping of laundry back to properties.
• Complying with Health and safety regulations.

We do require you to have some previous experience within a laundry or domestic cleaning environment would be highly advantageous, however full training will be given.

You need to display a willingness to learn and work hard as this is a busy environment. It is best you are happy working in a warm environment, on your feet all day and within a manual role.

Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 per annum
