We're on the lookout for a dedicated Learning Mentor with a focus on Behaviour Management to join a vibrant team at a large primary school in Leeds. This long-term, permanent opportunity offers a chance to make a real difference starting this September!

Role: Learning Mentor (Behaviour Focus)
Location: Leeds, UK
Salary: £90-£110 per day

About the Role:
As a Learning Mentor, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students in their academic and personal development. Your primary focus will be on promoting positive behaviour and providing guidance to students facing challenges. You'll work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs
  • Providing one-on-one support and mentoring to students experiencing difficulties
  • Collaborating with teachers to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Building positive relationships with students, parents, and staff members
  • Monitoring and tracking student progress, offering feedback and support as needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school setting
  • Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting student success
  • Relevant qualifications or training in education or youth work (desirable but not essential)
