Private Client- Legal Assistant/ Secretary
Witney 

Elevate your career by joining a well known Private Client team in Witney as a Legal Assistant/Secretary. This role promises to be both stimulating and rewarding, offering a chance to delve into the intricacies of Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, and estate administration. 

As the successful candidate, you will be entrusted with a variety of administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the team. Your responsibilities will include file management, document production, and meticulous archiving. You will also be involved in drafting documents, reflecting fee earner instructions with precision, and managing correspondence through audio-typing and crafting both standard and bespoke letters.

Client interaction is a key aspect of this role. You will be the first point of contact, handling enquiries with professionalism and warmth, both over the phone and in person. Your organisational skills will be put to good use as you schedule meetings, manage appointments, and oversee billing processes.

To thrive in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in IT, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with case management systems and the BigHand transcription system will stand you in good stead, although it is not essential. Your ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy will be crucial.

Your written communication skills must be impeccable, and your personality should bridge the gap between lawyers, clients, and third parties with ease. Attention to detail and a professional demeanour are paramount.
