LIMS Officer

Job Title: LIMS Officer

Salary: £30k - £31k

Location: West Yorkshire

SRG is working with a pharmaceutical company in West Yorkshire who require a LIMS officer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

• Set up the Labware LIMS to meet the needs of all areas of QC.
• Maintain the LIMS so that it is always current and to manage any system upgrades.
• Confirm that the software maintenance contract is always current.
• Carry out any other work as may be reasonably requested.
• Attend the Global LIMS team meetings.
• To work in an efficient, effective, and safe manner towards the performance targets of the team.
• Work to an agreed program of priorities. Provide regular feedback and progress reports. Proactively manage resources to ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related science-based qualification.
• Experience in using SQL and LIMS
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
