Panoramic Associates are currently recruiting for a Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer to join one of our clients, a local authority based in London for an initial 3 months locum contract with a strong likelihood of this being a long-term opportunity! The role is available on a full-time basis, however part-time applicants will also be considered.

This post will involve advising on a wide range of housing litigation matters including housing prosecutions and disrepair. This role will be offered on a flexible working basis, with the successful candidate being able to work on a predominantly remote basis however, attendance for court hearings would be required on occasion.

Essential Criteria:

  • A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister, alternatively, non-qualified Lawyers with substantial relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Previous experience working with a local authority
  • Good practical knowledge of housing litigation law including housing prosecutions & disrepair
  • Experience undertaking advocacy would be desirable
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
