About the role:
Are you ready to make a significant impact within this leading Lloyd’s Syndicate. We're seeking a proactive Loss Fund Specialist to drive our clients Faster Claims Payment (FCP) initiative and optimise their claims processing efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the adoption of FCP methodology, managing end-to-end FCP loss fund processes and reporting.
  • Maintain and enhance traditional and FCP loss fund processes, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Improve reconciliation practices to meet business and regulatory standards.
  • Act as a central point of contact for external stakeholders and internal auditors.
  • Oversee outsource partner teams, ensuring timely reconciliation and quality output.
  • Resolve issues raised by outsource partners and ensure timely receipt of loss fund documentation.
  • Collaborate with finance department for loss fund verification.
  • Provide management reporting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and act as a point of escalation for team members and stakeholders.
  • Foster open communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proactive with a can-do attitude.
  • London Market experience required.
  • Insurance operational experience essential.
  • Proficient in loss fund processes and procedures.
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong data preparation and interpretation skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good experience with Word and Excel.
