Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a new career opportunity with one of the top UK's Major Steel Tube manufacturers based in the West Bromwich area?
If yes, we want to hear from you! 

Annual Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours: 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 (rotating) early finish Fridays.

JOB SCOPE AND AIMS
Key duties revolve around installation of mechanical and electrical components on machines and offices. Maintenance of machines as well as troubleshooting and repairs whenever there is a breakdown.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Schedule and undertake periodic maintenance on all equipment, components, and installations.
  • Provide prompt response to enquiries whenever there is a breakdown and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
  • Ensure that equipment is in good working order to prevent disruption of activities.
  • Installation of fresh mechanical and electrical components and fittings.
  • Recommend replacement for old or faulty components or fittings to the management.
  • Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company's equipment.
  • Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process..
  • Fix and maintain lighting fixtures and fittings.
  • Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and provide preventive maintenance services.
  • Learn new skills and attend training programs to increase knowledge of trends and best practices in the industry.
  • Supervise and/or support contractor control onsite.


SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED
  • Must either have Electrical Engineering Certification or Maintenance Certification
  • Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings
  • Experience Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to supervise junior technicians and possesses a team spirit.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
