Management Accountant Payroll experience required

Butler Rose is proud to be working with a leading organisation in the Healthcare sector with the recruitment of a Management Accountant with Payroll experience.

As a Management Accountant with Payroll Duties, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient payroll processing. You will work closely with the finance team and various departments to analyse financial data, prepare management reports, and oversee payroll activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including budget variance analysis, forecasting, and financial performance reports.
• Perform financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Process payroll accurately and timely, including calculation of salaries, deductions, and statutory payments.
• Maintain employee records and resolve payroll discrepancies or inquiries promptly.
• Assist in year-end financial audits and statutory reporting requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance department.

Qualifications:

• ACCA/CIMA Qualified, PQ or QBE
• Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably with payroll responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and payroll processing.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
