The market leading company have an opportunity to work with a reputable finance team and support a qualified Finance Controller, alongside offering ACCA/CIMA study support for 'studiers' and is salaried up to £50,000 dependent on experience.

Description

As Management Accountant reporting into a qualified Financial Controller, you will be successfully responsible for the Management Accounts with key duties such as prepayments, accruals, stock and balance sheet reconciliations etc.

Alongside this will be business partnering with the wider financial and non-financial stakeholders such as operational and commercial heads of departments. This will lead into contributing towards the collaboration of the financial data and information on a weekly and monthly basis.

This is a standalone role with no direct reports, as well as being on site 5 days a week.

Profile

• Ideally either AAT level 3 or 4 as well as anyone studying towards ACCA or CIMA (inc exemptions from degree).
• Also very much open to anyone qualified by experience (QBE).

• Previous experience of preparing management accounts such as key duties as balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, journal postings, stock and VAT returns etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder management and representing the finance department with the wider business.
• Any sales, costings or product margin analysis knowledge is a desirable.
• Confident with Microsoft Excel and some of its formulas such as Vlookup, Pivot Tables etc.
• Key eye for detail.
• Happy to be on site 5 days a week with an early Friday finish!
