Management Accountant

KCR are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant for an excellent manufacturing client in Gateshead. Reporting to the FC you will be a key part of the finance team, ensuring that month-end, quarter-end and year-end reporting is delivered on time. Ideally you will have previous manufacturing experience and either CIMA/ACCA qualified or nearing qualification.

Main duties will include:

• Produce monthly management accounts
• Analysis overhead costs for the division
• Assist with standard costing and works order processes
• Ensure internal controls are in place and maintained
• Produce month end journals and reconciliations
• Provide information to support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting
• Ensure forecasts and budgets are delivered on time
• Assist with collection of information for statutory and taxation reporting
• Provide support and advice to department heads and other locations within the division
• Ensure accounting practices are carried out in accordance with US GAAP
• Assist with special projects as required
