COMPANY BACKGROUND:
I am currently working on behalf of a rapidly growing SME, who are now looking for an aspiring Accountant to join the business to support their continued growth.

Specialising in the provision of innovative solutions to multiple markets, the business is very quickly becoming a leading name within their market and showing no signs of slowing down.

The Management ccountant will play a vital part within a small Finance team.

  • Salary up to £35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience

  • Hybrid, 3 days in office in Wigan, 2 days WFH

The Role - Management Accountant

  • Prepare monthly board packs for reporting by collating data from accounts and conducting variance analysis
  • Monthly reconciliations for key balance sheet control accounts
  • Prepare monthly management accounts by calculating accruals, prepayments, and deferred income
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Receivable, including supplier pay runs, credit control, and ledger management
  • Support year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors
  • Calculate revenue analysis from in-depth reports from the CRM
  • Post purchase invoices and process purchase orders
  • Reconcile bank accounts and post payments and receipts to relevant accounts and ledgers


Requirements

  • Experienced gained at Management Accountant level
  • Currently studying towards ACCA / CIMA / ACA
  • Strong analytical and spreadsheet skills
  • Knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
