We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join a London-based Construction Group. Our client is a c.£100m revenue Construction Group based in Central London, with a strong pipeline of projects over the next 12 months they expect to grow to £150m within the next year.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to fast-track to Finance Manager, and they are looking for a motivated candidate who wants to progress quickly. Working with an experienced Financial Controller and Finance Director, you will learn from a wealth of industry experience and also be supported by the wider finance team.
 
The role will include;
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for several key entities
  • Review of monthly management accounts produced by colleague for small entity
  • Able to challenge and interpret CVR's
  • Year-end consolidated accounts preparation (FRS102) and overseeing the annual audit process, dealing with the external auditors
  • VAT returns and preparing CIS returns, dealing with queries
  • Supporting the Financial Controller with a new ERP system implementation
  • Supporting and overseeing the junior colleagues work, ensuring accuracy across AP, AR and reconciliations
 
Key candidate requirements;
  • Newly Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or Part Qualified/Finalist level with 5+ years experience in a construction company
  • Good construction industry knowledge (CIS)
  • Management accounting / Group consolidation experience
 
Package includes;
  • Up to £60,000
  • Discretionary annual bonus up to 15%
