Management Accountant to join our finance team. As a key player in our company, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to our continued growth.Role OverviewAs a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of financial management. Your role will encompass transactional finance, prepayments, accruals, fixed asset register maintenance, and leading the preparation of monthly management accounts.Key Responsibilities

• Transactional Finance:
  • Process and manage financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain records of invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
• Prepayments and Accruals:
  • Calculate and record prepayments and accruals accurately.
  • Monitor and reconcile prepayment and accrual accounts.
  • Provide insights on cost allocation and forecasting.
• Fixed Asset Register:
  • Maintain an up-to-date fixed asset register.
  • Track asset additions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Assist with capital expenditure planning.
• Monthly Management Accounts:
  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to explain variances and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• AAT qualified or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and financial software.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
