Performance Objectives

• Engineering - Solving Problems, Investigation, answering queries, Cad and client projects
• Tool Design - Learn how to design tools and Jigs for Presses and CNC
• Quality - Learning how to complete FAI's and complete CAPA's including other quality assurance processes
• EHS - Learning all aspect of the Health & Safety and Environmental requirements of the site.
• Chemi-Milling Department (3 areas) - Milling Material using highly dangerous chemicals, NDT testing overview, Laboratory Testing
• Laser/CNC - Learning setting, programming, and cutting of parts.
• Hot Forming - Heat treatment, Material Protection, Setting & Loading Presses with tools, Development Work Projects
• Finishing - Using Polishing & Finishing Machines, Drilling and De-Burring
• Customer Accounts - Order Book, Scheduling, Shipping Paper Work, Customer meetings
• Supply Chain - Production Planning, Material Planning, Job Loading

Person Specification

• A-C GCSE Level or equivalent in English and Maths
• A - C GCSE Level or equivalent in Science or Woodwork or Metalwork
• Experience of working in a Team Environment
• Experience of meeting tight deadlines
• Experience of using computers and technology
• Good communication skills with the ability to communicate and liaise effectively at all levels within the Company;
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with both immediate team members and other production teams;
