Marketing and Business Development Coordinator

Your new company
You will be working for an engineering consultancy company in the Stockport area on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Reporting to the business development director, your role will be working across generalist marketing channels and supporting the bids and tender process. On the Marketing side, this will involve having control of the marketing budget, managing websites, managing the social media accounts across different platforms, publishing blogs and news posts, production of brochures and other printed materials and the design and sourcing of branded merchandise for promotional use. On the business development side, you will be maintaining the proposals database, producing sales packs for meetings, production of proposals and coordinating tender responses, producing presentations to support the sales team for client meetings and other related tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
This role requires someone with a background in generalist marketing support, experience supporting the bids and tender process, excellent written communication skills, strong IT skills, knowledge of website and social media management and a flexible approach. As this is working for a small company, they need someone who is happy to work reactively when needed to support the business needs. Experience within the engineering / construction / manufacturing sectors would be an advantage, however is not essential.
What you'll get in return
This role offers an annual salary of between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum, a bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and pension scheme.
