*** 1-2-1 academic support to guide KS3 and KS4 through the maths GCSE curriculum

As a Maths Academic Coach, you will offer support and assistance to children aged 11-16 in their maths lessons to increase their attainment and improve grades. To be successful in this Maths Academic Coach role, it is essential that you hold strong communication skills, with the ability to form strong bonds with students, to ensure that all pupils fulfil their maximum potential.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of mathematical concepts, with the confidence to explain these to under-achieving pupils.
  • Previous experience of tutoring is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, accompanied by patience and a passion for the field.
