An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maths ECT to join a vibrant school in Wolverhampton. They are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths ECT to inspire and motivate our students to achieve their full potential.

*** Salary: £30,000
*** Location: Wolverhampton
*** Contract: Permanent, September 2024
*** 76% GCSE pass rate for GCSE Maths (2022)

As a Maths ECT, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students across all key stages, ensuring that they are engaged and challenged in their learning. You will be joining a supportive team of educators who are committed to providing a stimulating and enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver outstanding Maths lessons across all key stages.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/carers.
  • Ensure that all teaching is differentiated to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents/carers, and colleagues.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of Maths teaching and learning.

Requirements:
  • A degree in Maths or a related subject
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Experience teaching Maths across all key stages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
