Metrology Engineer

Location: LS19

Hiring Method: Permanent

Salary: Up to £18.50p/h

Metalis are working with an established manufacturing company who are looking to add a Metrology Engineer to their Metrology department. The candidate will be responsible for dimensional measurement and the programming of CMM Machines.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating and Modifying CMM Programs using MCOMOS
  • Creating FAI reports
  • Creation of GOM Inspection Reports and programs
  • Calibration using CMM machines

Person Specification:

  • Experience writing and editing CMM programmes
  • CAD Experience
  • A Formal Technical Qualification: HNC or BTEC Level 4
  • Ability to Read Engineering drawings

The Details:

  • Up to £18.50p/h
  • Days predominately but must be happy with a 2 shift pattern
  • Permanent vacancy
  • Bonus Scheme
