Role: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Uxbridge
Salary: £28,119 - £31,364  per annum (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (Optional Overtime Provided)
Temp to Perm Position
 
Parkside Recruitment are currently seeking a field-based Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer.
 
About:
Our client is a family-run Commercial Buildings Services and Maintenance Company located in Uxbridge. They have over four decades of experience, and established themselves as industry leaders in the commercial, industrial, office, local authority, and healthcare sectors.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with extensive industry experience to work across various sites in London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, and surrounding areas.

You will collaborate with their reactive team, contributing your expertise to our diverse portfolio of commercial and NHS-managed properties.

Main responsibilities:
  • As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and work well under pressure.
  • Perform reactive and planned preventative maintenance work across various properties.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in carpentry, plumbing, decorating, and other trades.
  • Utilise fault-finding and leak investigation skills.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety protocols.
  • Complete necessary reports and paperwork
  • Procure materials and equipment for maintenance tasks.
Requirements: 
  • You will collaborate with our reactive team, contributing your expertise to our diverse portfolio of commercial and NHS-managed properties.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Professionalism and punctuality
  • Qualification in a base trade such as carpentry or plumbing
  • Demonstrable experience in multiple trades within a similar role
  • CSCS Card or NVQ in Relevant Trade (preferred)
  • Hold a minimum of 5 years Full Clean UK Driving Licence
