Neighbourhood Response Officer
  • Location: Bow with travel across Tower Hamlets and North London
  • Job Type: Full-time, hybrid working arrangements
  • Salary: £18.81 per hour

My client is seeking confident, customer-focused Neighbourhood Response Officers to join their team. This role is essential in ensuring that their estates are desirable places for residents to live. You will be working in a rewarding environment, supporting vulnerable customers and preventing anti-social behaviour.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Ensure that estates are clean, safe, and welcoming for residents.
  • Conduct fire risk assessments, estate inspections, and investigate breaches of tenancy.
  • Develop and deliver neighbourhood plans and local offers.
  • Work with local resident groups to develop community facilities, activities, and events.
  • Collaborate with other teams, external agencies, and residents to identify and implement improvements.
  • Travel regularly across North London to engage with residents and address their needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year experience in a housing office or similar housing environment, with transferable skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams, external agencies, and residents.
  • Strong customer service focus, with the ability to support vulnerable individuals.
  • Experience in managing anti-social behaviour is desirable.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to identify and implement estate improvements.
  • A driving license is preferred due to the travel requirements of the role.
