Nursery Assistant - Responsibilities:

As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting children with SEN, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in the classroom. You will work alongside a team of dedicated Teaching Assistants to ensure the well-being and academic progress of all students.

As a Nursery assistant your responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one support to SEN children in the classroom.
• Assisting the teacher and other staff members in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborating with the SENCO and other professionals to implement individualised education plans for students with ASD.
• Supporting students with their daily routines and activities, including personal care if required.

Nursery Assistant - Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly ASD, is highly desirable.
• Confidence, courage, and a proactive approach to supporting student's needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
