Nursery Nurse Position - Level 3 Qualification Required

Are you passionate about shaping the future of our next generation? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse to join a team in Sunderland!

Position: Nursery Nurse
Location: Sunderland
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
Start Date: 20th May

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in line with EYFS standards.
  • Plan and supervise activities like arts and crafts, music and cooking.
  • Help children to develop their literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Monitor children's progress, and identify and deal with any issues.
  • Attend parent-teacher meetings.
  • Uphold the nursery's reputation for high-quality care.

Qualifications:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ or equivalent).
  • Experience in a nursery setting.
  • An understanding of the EYFS framework.
  • Current DBS check.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • A positive approach to learning and development.
