Your New Role

Currently working with one of our most innovative clients, in securing an experienced and highly skilled Operations Engineer. As an Operations Engineer, your main responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of our client’s flexible power generation plant and associated equipment. Providing essential support to ensuring efficient energy is distributed nationally, this role offers excellent growth opportunities.


You will be expected to prioritize health and safety, optimize plant efficiency, manage site-specific operations, and provide technical expertise. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. In this varied role, you will also be required to optimise plant availability, responding to unplanned breakdowns, identified the issues and resolving the problems. Stakeholder holder management duties are key, especially with external suppliers and contractors ensuring optimal efficiency.



Ensuring Your Success

You will have extensive hands-on experience with reciprocating gas generators, including maintenance and troubleshooting knowledge. A valid driver’s licence is essential due to multi-site work. IOSH or equivalent health and safety accreditation is highly desirable. Detailed experience on internal combustion engines is a fundamental piece of this role. Being a motivated self starter, with an appetite to learn and develop is key to your ongoing success.
