The opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join a well-known progressive company based in Trafford Park on a part-time basis.

This role will be responsible for the AP ledger, with further duties on the day to day running of the department. This role will also be able to assist with journals and other month-end responsibilities. Ideally an individual with vast experience within a similar finance role would be successful.

Hours: Around 20 hours per week
Salary: £25,000 Pro Rata

(Hours and days can be discussed to suit)

Main Duties:
  • Processing invoices in a timely manner
  • Daily management of finance email inboxes
  • Processing across several territories within different currencies
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier accounts with their respective statements
  • Assisting with query resolution
  • Maintaining positive relationships internally and externally
  • Maintenance of the ledger
  • Any other adhoc duties that may arise

Person Specification:  
  • AAT qualified preferable but not essential
  • Excel literate
  • Experience within Finance roles
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with other team members to ensure work is delivered on time
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to details
