Children's Permanency Social Worker

Gloucestershire Council are looking to expand their current team. The Children's Permanence team is looking for a Social Worker to join a well-structured and organised team. As well as joining a supportive team our client also offers a competitive salary, opportunities for training to enhance your skills and potential progression within your team. This Children's Permanence Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Children's Permanence Social Worker Responsibilities Include:

  • Initial Assessments and Core Assessments
  • LAC Reviews
  • Giving Evidence
  • Managing a varied caseload
  • Court Reports
  • Section 47's

Requirements / Experience preferred:

  • Post qualifying experience of working as a Permanence Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry.
  • HCPC Registration
  • 1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
