PR Account Executive

Cornwall

Circa £25k

Three days in the office (on the border of Devon and Cornwall), two remote

Do you have a degree in PR or communications?

Or, do you have some work experience in a PR agency or in-house PR, communications or marketing team department?

You’ll be in good hands at this planning, policy and industrial relations communications agency, where you’ll be tasked with supporting and executing on PR and comms campaigns, as well as co-ordinating events.

There will opportunity to learn, develop and grow with this role.

About the job

Supporting the Account Manager, you’ll be involved in delivering PR and communications campaigns for a range of clients through copywriting - including press releases, social media content, stakeholder briefings, newsletters There will be event coordination such as webinars, job fairs, parliamentary receptions, consultation events and community exhibition events

Monitoring the press and media, research, analysis and reporting will all be part of your daily routine.

Your skills:

  • A recent qualification in PR or recent experience in working for a PR agency or inhouse team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Self-motivated with a good understanding of our sectors
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A wider awareness of current and political affairs
