Our client is an established accountancy practice in Lincoln, looking to grow their accounts team with a Accounts Assistant. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounts assistant, ideally with a practice background however they will consider someone without this sector knowledge.

Responsibilities of the practice accounts assistant:

Preparation of limited company and sole trader accounts
Preparation of personal tax returns
Preparation of VAT returns
Experience of using Xero

Candidate Profile for the practice accounts assistant

The successful candidate will likely be an accounts assistant, accounts semi senior, AAT studier / qualified with demonstrable accountancy practice experience.
Experience of Xero or similar accounting packages
Minimum of 2-3 years in a a similar role
The successful candidate will be able to prepare draft VAT Returns
Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
