Role Overview: As a Class Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons to a small class of 7-8 students in Year 7, who work to a tailored primary curriculum. 
  • Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their emotional well-being and social development.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including therapists and support staff, to create a holistic learning experience.
  • Use creative teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of our students.
  • Contribute to the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs and/or who come from disadvantaged backgrounds.
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed approaches and therapeutic interventions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
