Avonmouth, Bristol

Full Time, Permanent

Salary: Circa £38,000

+ Bonus + Overtime at x1.5 + Enhanced Pension + Holiday + Sick Pay Scheme + Benefits.

Commutable from: Weston Super Mare, Gloucester, Monmouth, Newport and surrounding areas.

My client, a nationally recognised plastics production facility, based in Avonmouth, is looking for 5x Production/Machine operators to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

The role:

Working as part of the shift production team, your role will be to operate static and mobile plant, to ensure the efficient running of the plastics processing facility. As well as setting and operating machinery, you may be required to complete basic maintenance/cleaning of the machinery, assisting engineering with any faults that arise.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

Previous experience working in a production manufacturing or process facility. (essential)

Previous experience operating/running production/process machinery. (essential)

Counterbalance forklift experience (essential)

Health and safety knowledge (essential)

Experience working with extrusion machinery.extruders (desirable)

Food manufacturing experience (desirable)

You may have worked in one of the following positions previously:

Machine operator, machine minder, production operator, production technician, manufacturing technician, manufacturing operator, process operator, technical operator
