Procurement Data Analyst

A position has arisen for a Procurement Data Analyst in Cambridge. This is a full-time position on a two-year fixed term contract in the first instance.

The position will play a crucial role in retrieving, cleansing, and analysing data from the various Procurement and Finance tools to create reliable, accurate fact-based reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the enhancement and upkeep of the procurement data environment, ensuring the availability of comprehensive reports for on-demand team access.
• Deliver analytical and reporting services to the Procurement Services team, fostering cost savings and regulatory adherence.
• Generate dashboard reports for projects and activities.
• Spearhead data gathering and entry initiatives.
• Enhance the precision and efficiency of regular reporting schedules.
• Assess and navigate the complexities of migrating and cleansing data from legacy systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Assist with the upkeep, troubleshooting, and enhancement of Procurement Analytics.
• Guarantee that reporting complies with the Data Visualisation standards and branding guidelines

Criteria:

• Proficient in full-lifecycle BI development, adept at converting raw data into actionable insights and comprehensive reports.
• Skilled in data management, including data profiling, cleansing, and migration, with a solid understanding of data management frameworks.
• Experienced in utilizing Regular Expressions (RegEx) within Python and R programming languages for data analysis and manipulation tasks.
