Title: Procurement Manager (12-month Maternity Cover)

Location: Hybrid & Remote options available, occasional travel to North Wales

Salary & Package: £40,000 - £44,000 + benefits

We are delighted to be partnering with a community led organisation who are looking to appoint a Procurement Manager on a 12-month maternity cover basis. The role will have overall remit for developing procurement strategy, sourcing, and stakeholder management of both internal and external clients (councils, developers, tenants etc).

As this is a fixed term role, they are ideally looking for someone who is available on short notice and would be open to this type of contract. Please read on for more details..

Role & Responsibilities

  • Report into and work closely with the Head of Finance
  • Take responsibility for providing an efficient, effective and innovative procurement and agreement management service
  • Ensure a structured approach to acquiring and managing agreements across the Group to maximise value for money
  • Develop and manage procurement strategy, policies and procedures

Experience & Requirements

  • Will need to have experience working in the public sector
  • Ideally will have experience of working in regulations (PCR etc)
  • Should have a relevant degree or qualification
