Are you a technically minded person looking for an exciting career in the electromechanical engineering industry, our client specialises in the manufacture of bespoke hardware and software solutions for both public and private sector companies.

They have an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic Production Technicians to join their expanding team. This position is well suited to an individual that is looking to begin or expand their career in electromechanical production and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.

They supply both private and public sector organisations self-service solutions and each year have expanded their product range and customer base. Due to this continued growth they are now looking to recruit production technicians who will be involved in the manufacture of their complete product range.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work closely with the production and engineering team, to assist with the assembly and testing of their range of harrdware solutions and helping the team to achieve agreed targets. This exciting position carries the potential for dynamic and capable people to progress within the business.

Technician Duties will include:

  • Assembling self-service touch screen kiosks and sub-assemblies to the highest standards.
  • Inspecting and testing against control parameters.
  • Recording details of products manufactured and components used.

About you:

  • Experience in or a keen interest in engineering, electronics and computers.
  • Competence with a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Computer literate.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Full in house training will be provided across every aspect of the production process. You will be joining a fast-growing company which actively seeks to promote from within.

  • The working week is 40 hours Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 hrs with overtime available as the position demands.
