Professional Skills Trainer

Our client is seeking a Professional Skills Trainer to join their growing team, to deliver high quality learning and development apprenticeship training. This is a full time, permanent position, offering a hybrid working model, working Monday to Friday in Central London, with a salary of up to £35,000.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Head of Quality & Curriculum, this role will take responsibility for delivering inspirational, engaging, and high-quality learning and development activities in coaching, HR, hospitality, leadership, and management. This role will identify the most effective learning delivery method which creates the right learner and business impact. This role will effectively balance and deliver results for commercial offer and Apprenticeships. This role will be passionate about learning and development and thrive on new ideas and innovation and not afraid to trail an idea and then improve on it. To provide support, expertise, knowledge, and ideas to design, development, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of commercially funded leadership and management programmes and curriculum's. You will design learning materials, workshops, games, activities which inspire leaders and managers to grow and develop. You will always look to enhance the learner's organisational capabilities in any learning design. You will ensure the learning material content and design including lesson plans, training notes, trainer guides, slides, games, activities, skills practice, virtual and online learning is up-to-date and is used effectively. You will create engaging case study materials such as videos, pod-casts etc which highlight strengths and delivery.

What Skills and Qualifications will you have?

  • Degree or equivalent qualification, evidence of equivalent experience in Training, Management, Learning and Development, Coaching or HR.
  • Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or equivalent
  • Level 3 CIPD or equivalent of learning practice
  • You will be highly creative and have outstanding facilitation skills and be a natural communicator.
  • Someone who is passionate and enjoys building and delivering inpactful presentations and sessions.
  • Have outstanding Microsoft Office skills.
  • Be a confident relationship builder.
  • Be super organised and has an eye for detail.
  • You will be professional and always maintain confidentiality.
  • You will need to be flexible to travel and work away from home within the UK, when necessary.
