ASSIGNMENT OVERVIEW:

Alchemy London Market is currently seeking an experienced Programme Manager who will be assigned to manage projects within the testing portfolio; overseeing multiple workstreams and collaborating closely with the testing team.

You will be responsible for ensuring successful execution and driving project outcomes aligned with organizational objectives.

ASSIGNMENT OBJECTIVES:

  • Own projects within the testing portfolio; working closely with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful project execution.
  • Oversee various workstreams within IT testing projects, including but not limited to functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing. Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure alignment across workstreams to meet project milestones and deadlines.
  • Work closely with the testing team to understand project requirements, define testing strategies, and ensure that testing activities are executed effectively. Provide leadership and guidance to the testing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Engage with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, business stakeholders, and IT teams, to communicate project status, risks, and issues. Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, address concerns, and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of testing processes and deliverables by implementing best practices, standards, and quality assurance measures. Conduct reviews and audits of testing activities to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process enhancements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues that may impact project delivery or quality. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project resilience.

EXPERIENCE & SKILL-SET:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects within the London Market.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Technical acumen, preferably with familiarity in software testing practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
