Property Management is a part of a group of companies established in 1993. Since then, a large number of properties have been retained and this role is to manage the portfolio of approximately 80 flats.
Property Management is a part of a group of companies established in 1993. Since then, a large number of properties have been retained and this role is to manage the portfolio of approximately 80 flats.
- We have a small but busy team of 6 people.
- We are currently experiencing a strong growth period as we take on more managed flats.
- Historically our lettings have been done by a third party but we have now brought this function in-house. The successful applicant will be fundamental in establishing best-practice processes to ensure success of this change.
- Job role – Property & Lettings Manager
- Develop practices for vetting applicants for flats on the market
- Carry out viewings as required
- Full ownership of the PM and Lettings function
- Day to day maintenance of the flats – reactive and planned
- AST renewals
- Change of tenants
- Move ins/outs
- Deposit returns
- Carry out inspections and act on the findings
- Delegation and management of appropriate duties to the office administrator
- Development of the office administrator to gain new skills
- This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to take over the running of the A-Z of property management and make it their own.
- ARLA qualified
- Minimum 5 years experience in lettings and management
- Business Development minded
- Organised
- Can work independently
- Team player who wants to help others when things get busy
- Good communication skills
- Driving licence is essential
- SW London knowledge is preferred
- The role would suit somebody looking to move into a role with more autonomy
- The role would suit somebody looking to move away from a large agency into a smaller set-up
